Walk from the doorstep of Trewena Cottages

Walks from the doorstep of Trewena Cottages

Mabe Parish is blessed with some fantastic local walks around the Parish of Mabe. In recent years a dedicated group of locals have unearthed ancient rights of way around the Parish and set about creating the map below. When walking you’ll enjoy range of landscapes from quarries and farmland to quaint hidden cottages and working farms, all whilst overlooking the sweeping fields down towards Falmouth bay.

Some of these paths may be underused, so you’ll experience a real sense of adventure hiking around the landscape here. Incidentally, if you find any paths that are overgrown please report them to us and we can help keep them maintained.

Use the map below to get an idea of what routes there are around the area. During your stay we’ll be more than happy to point you in the right direction to the paths and offer suggestions. We also have some physical copies of the map for you to take with you.

Let us know your favourite route, but most of all, enjoy!
